
On Thursday, March 12, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the General Administration of the Civil Society Commission in Benghazi between the Commission’s administration and the administration of the Center for Public Administration and Institutional Development at the University of Benghazi, in order to strengthen institutional cooperation and exchange experiences between the two sides in order to improve performance and support community work.
The Civil Society Commission was represented at this meeting by:
- Mr. Mahmoud Issa Al-Barasi – Chairman of the Board
- Mr. Ibrahim Al-Maqsabi – Executive Director
The center’s management was represented by:
- Prof. Dr. Bashir Al-Abbar – Center Director
- Dr. Muhammad Makhlouf
- Ms. Rima Al-Jaridi
The meeting addressed several topics of mutual interest, including a review of the two institutions’ roles in institutional work and community service, as well as exploring ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between them. This collaboration aims to support administrative and institutional development programs and improve performance within both institutions.
The importance of building effective partnerships based on the exchange of knowledge and expertise was also emphasized, as this will enhance institutional efficiency and contribute to achieving shared goals in serving the community.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to form a joint working group to identify areas of common interest and develop clear mechanisms for cooperation between the Commission and the Center, in order to enhance institutional integration, support development initiatives, and contribute to achieving positive and sustainable results at the administrative and community work level.
